However, there were some outstand- ing individual performances. Ray DeBolt was the area's leading 880 runner, and Russ Eckhardt was one of the top sprint- ers. One ofthe high-points of the season was their victories in the medley relay at the Sweetwater and Easter relays. This and many promising freshmen offer hope for next year .
