THIRD ROW: Janice Wef lin, Margaret Knutson, Janice Baker, Karen Skrukrud, Joyce Radunz, Roberta Seber, Nancy Esperland, Lucille Giese. FOURTH ROW: Larry Barber, Douglas Stueland, James Hendrickson, Merle Amundson, Bruce Haugland, Darrald Dahl, Morris Berg. Boys' quartet: Butch Berg, Bruce Haugland, Sheldon Sandberg, Ray Sheggeby. The Chorus this year recruited more male voices, which added greatly to the vocal effect. Two concerts were pre- sented by the chorus this year, one being the Christmas concert, at which time the Chorus sang As Lately We Watched, Mexican Christmas Lullaby, and Silent Night. The Spring Concert featured such numbers as We Thank Thee Lord and Cry Out. The 1961 Chorus officers were Art Ringsven, president: Ray Sheg- geby, vice president, Bruce Haugland, secretary-treasurer.

SECOND ROW: Mary Ann Stueland, Ellen Vaala, Jean Stouffer, Rosemary Hanson, Bev Yaeger, Mary Lovering, Jan Podoll. THIRD ROW: Rosaline Halstad. Roberta Sebber, Barb Cole, Sharon Anderson, Lu Anne Gabbert, Annette Sebring, Jan Hemmingson, Dorthy Eckert, Diane Cavender. Mr. McCoy, Mrs. Torgersong Miss Shultz, Barbara Eddy, Treasurerg Janice Hemrningson, Secretaryg Janice Podoll, Publicity Officer, Annette Sebring, President, Georgia Brennan, Vice President. The Junior Red Cross took its debut in the year of l96l, under the direction of its president Annette Sebring. A fund-raising campaign was held this fall, with quite a good representation of funds from each class. Assorted boxes con- taining objects such as toothbrushes, combs, and pencils were also collected. The group also spent some time at the local rest home making the lives of the people there more bright, The Junior Red Cross is truly a valuable addition to G.F.H.S. 41
