Ss V X A A ffl It its ,-f' 1 W if l gupetinfendenfs essazje Dear Students: ln this year, 1950, your future is strictly up to you. As a citizen of free, dynamic, ever-pro- grossing America, you will find no dictator to tell you what you must do. Your opportunities will he limited only by your vision of what your future may become, your abilities and how you use them, your character and your determination. You will soon attain your first goal in life, that of finishing school, then you will be scattered to the four corners of the earth. You will shortly start out on one of the most exciting adventures you will ever have, that of making a living. You eertainly need intelligenre, initiative, ability and good health, but the pre-requisites to these would be personal qualities such as, honesty, dependability, enthusiasm and eo-operativeness, and often personality is placed above these. But, if you want to get the most from life, you will have to organize your thinking, You will need to use foresight in acquiring those skills which will be most valuable to you later. You will have to plan your life well and follow your plan. Whatever vocation you choose, never be satisfied but continually work toward the top, Some of you will meet with disappointments, but never give up, constantly work toward your goal in life. My last wish for you would he for you to succeed even beyond the expectations of your ambition, Sincerely, A. O. Prickett
