IRL S' BASKETBALL TEAM BACK ROW: Business Msnager, Donna G1svold,fn1te Grvvlum, Anderson, Key McKinnon, Coach Mr. Roy Fee. FRONT ROW: Merge Fee, Knthryn Mrrgech, Petty Anderson, Shi Peterson, Judy Anderson, Elizrbeth Jflbert. The Grandin girls basketball team had a fair season dur ing 1956-57. Coaohed by Roy J. Fee, we had 12 wins and 9 defeats with a total of 21 games including the tournament. We played 8 conference games during the season. We won 5 and lost 5. The Sub-District tournament was held in Map- keton on February 14, 15, and 16. In the playoff game, on Thursday, February 14, the Grandin girls defeated the Arg- usville girls in a hard fought game. On Friday, February 15, the Grandin girls were defeated by the Erie girls in a close game. On Saturday, February 16, we were defeated by Arthur for third place honors. Judy Anderson was the captain of the team thoughout the season. The team will lose two players, Judy Anderson and Donna Gisvold, who are seniors.
