WIDOW'S and WIDOWER'S ROUNDUP ' September 25rd was a day set aside for time of enter- tainment and fun. It was called the HWIDOW'S and WIDOWER'S ROUNDUPH. The surrounding vicinities cooperated in making this day a great success Wallace Creek, Morrisania, Battlement Mesa, Una, and Rulison each gave a short program in the evening after the races and fun of tre day What a day' And what a price glory for the schoo Although Charles Quinn won the foot race lor boys over 15 and the bicycle race, ne also won a skinned knee Lanlan, another winged mercury, won first honors in the foot race for boys from the ares of ll to l5 Bus Blue cane in second Marv Lindauer roved to be the fastest girl in town s she won first honors in the pirls foot race Vera Benedetti cfme n a vcry lose second and sva Lou a still closer trird Louise Blue and Bins Pritchard proved to be Food pedalers as well as tap dancers in the rirls' bicycle race.
