Modern, easy to use sewing machines cut stitching time for many high school seamstresses. homemaking Miss Nadine Driver, Homemaking instructor pauses in the kitchen during a class period. The domestic skills of sew- ing and cooking . . . social graces . . . grooming . . . budgeting . . . marketing . . . the general process of man- aging a home . . . these con- stitute homemaking. Although Geep H ig h teaches its girls to be secre- taries, it also teaches them to excel in their most important future vocation . . . home- making.
