Page 21 Tiger Times Grand Junction, Colo Spring Fest This year for dress up days we had Beach day. Dress up day, MTV day, Foreigner day, and Tootsie day. The participation for these days is really improved from the past few years which made it a lot more fun for everyone. We also had our Beach Dance which added to the fun. Finally the weekend came and it was time for our Carnival '84. In the Carnival we had the top two finalists of the air band contest compete for the championship, mud volleyball, mud tug of war, arm wrestling, a kissing booth, and many other booths. Patrica Moron sings I think I'm turning Japanese Will the real tootsie stand up?

Page 22 Tiger Times Grand Junction, Colo. Prom Dining, dancing and memories all part of Prom Couples enjoy the atmosphere of the Prom. The 1984 Prom was held on May 5 in Lift Auditorium at Mesa College. The theme for the dance was The Best is Yet to Come.” Earlier in the week the student body selected the royalty to reign over the traditional Spring festivity. The girls chosen were Lisa Arbogast, junior attendent; Laini Stadler, senior attendent, and Terri Chappell, queen. The royalty were honored at the dance where the coronation of the queen took place. London Bridges from Utah, provided the music that made dancing and lifetime memories the order Of Soft lights and slow music make prom special the evening.
