'Spring Fesr' comes ro GJHS The Srudenr Council of Grand Junction High School decided ro liven up the end of the year and bolster sogging school spirit with the celebration of a Spring Fesr . Each day of the week-tong festivities wos designated as a special type of dress day. Also many other activities helped fill the week. On Monday the senior and junior girls played a powder-puff football gome,- on Tuesday they held a Blood Donors Day; on Wednesday numerous guest speakers came to the school for a Career's Day; on Thursday the Council sponsored an assembly with the finals of an air-bond contest, and on Friday they hosted a Beach Party dance.
