School dramatists will present the well known fairy tale, Pinocchio as their annual childrens' play. Special performances will be made for the elementary and nursery school children. The fanciful Pinocchio is a two act play consisting of 30 cast members. Mr. Canaday is the faculty director and both Debbie Currier and Dana White are the student directors. Cindy Cobb choreographed the various dances. Barb Beddor and Marilyn Miller persuade Pinocchio Theresa Knip-ping, to become a show business celebrity. Tom Coatney, David Van Dyke, Lenita Newby, Nancy Bauer and Cheryl Flynn in a scene from Pinocchio. Leslie Wein, Rebecca Williams and Carol Mann work on Pinocchio scenery. Actors Present Three All-School Plays This year try-outs for fall, winter and childern's plays were open to the entire student body. The comedy, Come Blow Your Horn was the first play of the year. The Chirstmas play was performed in the round. The audience being on stage along with the actors. Actors Derek Brunner, Kris Kercheval and Dave Taylor. Elmer Stausser and followers, in the Christmas play. Christina Benson, of Come Blow Your Horn , sooths Tony Brich while Cathy Greenhouse converses on the phone. Gridders Receive Awards Outstanding football players were honored at the annual football banquet. Awards were given to exceptional varsity and junior varsity gridders. Chosen for the All-State team are Bill Coutts, Ron Kovach, Wendell McConnell, Dale Tooker and Hal Wederath. Players that made All-Southwestern League are Bill Coutts, Tim Foster, Jim Haggerty, Eric Klein, Rick Kle-ments, Ron Kovach, Wendell McConnell, Ken Reece, Dale Tooker and Hal Wederath. Steve Driscoll was chosen as one of the co-captains for the 1976 season. Bill Coutts was awarded Most Valuable Player. Wendell McConnell received Best Offensive Player and Hal Wederath, Best Defensive Player. Bernie Chavies won the Tiger Spirit Award and Charlie Knapp the Coach's Award. 28 School Life
