Homecoming Queen Kathy Reigns Over Game, Parade Homecoming, held October 24, waswfilled with many exciting events, as in past homeobmings. The festivities began immediately following the Bee football game with the traditional parade of floats. Highlighting the evening was the crowning of Kathy Hartley as Homecoming Queen, with Jeannette Ramirez, Nancy Totten, Jill Liscom, Kathy Bundy, and Elana Lesser as princesses. Float awards were then presented with the senior class float winning first place, and the junior class and Bee cheerleaders taking runner-up awards. 1. Debbie Regalado, last year's homecoming queen crowns Kathy Hartley, Homecoming Queen 1975. 2. Winning first place, the senior float featured The Friendly Eagle, the Principian mascot, with Georgene Walker as George Washington and Carla Butler as Betsy Ross. 3. The Bee cheerleaders entered a beehlve float and took the third place award in the contest. 4. The 1975 Homecoming Court: Princesses Jeanette Ramirez, Nancy Totten, Queen Kathy Hartley, Princesses Jill Liscom, Kathy Bundy, and Elana Lesser, 5. The junior class float, with an Olympians beer can. received second prize. 24

Pops Concert Program Presents Popular Selections Since 1973, the Highlanders have presented an annual Pops Concert. This year's concert was held November 13 in Highlander Hall. The performing artists were choir members who needed to try out in order to participate in the show. The program included such numbers as Money from the motion picture Cabaret sung by Alison England and Paul Nakauchi, an old-time hit King of the Road presented by Mark Le Vang on the piano, and a medley of John Denver songs performed by Denise Railla and Tony Oliver. The American Field Service student from Japan, Tomomitsu Arikuni, accompanied himself on the guitar while singing a Japanese folk song. The Hampton singers and the choir also added a few of their selections to the program. 1. Sue Speth and Victor Stein perform The Doll on the Music Box from the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang . 2. Laurie Grimaldi and her partner join together in portraying Fanny Brice from the movie Funny Girl . 26
