Advisin on Uperation Elected to four-year terms by the Advisory Council, the 14 members of the Board of Directors act in a definite administrative- advisory role. They are the primary determiners of the growth and development of this school, authorizing stewardship projects and expansion activities, as well as directing the functions of the administrative offices on campus. Semi-annual meetings, newsletters received periodically from the President, and a detailed annual report keep these men well-in- formed on the workings of Grace. An expanding Bible college presents many needs: financing, housing, and staffing. Members, chosen by the Board of Directors, serve an indefinite length of time. Made up of men from many professions and vocations, the Council meets annually to discuss and offer pertinent suggestions concerning aims, responsibilities, and various aspects of the opera- tion of the school. Their recommendations provide focus for further action. These men also aid in the support of Grace, both financially and prayerfully. In Public A solemn dignity and sense of God's leading pervaded the atmosphere at the Installation of the fifth President of Grace Bible Institute, Dr. Robert W. Benton. Taking place on October 19, 1971, in Suckau Memorial Chapel, the event appropriately climaxed Grace Fellowship Day. The installation message was given by Dr. James Borror, longtime friend of Dr. Benton, with Rev. L. R. Amstutz, Board President, giving the installation charge. Music for the occasion was provided by the Grace Chorale. Educators, delegates from colleges and universities, Board and Advisory Council members, as Well as the Grace family, and friends were on hand for the occasion. ll lr ., ligvgvw -1 --gf Q, " -E .ii
