Set aside as a time of special communication with God, it gives members of the Grace family an opportunity to share needs and blessings, not only with each other, but with the Lord, in individual, group, and chapel situations. Held one day each semester, the evening sessions fittingly ended with a Communion service. Bible Conference Framing Intelligent Answers World conditions press threateningly in on us. As in Jude's day, men today are spurning the spiritual truths of God, attacking all standards of morality, and rejecting authority. But all too often we as Christians fail to realize the true power of Satan and work out an intelligent defense against him. Three key men challenged us with the existence of this apostasy and its effect on the life and service of the Christian during our annual Bible Conference, October 18-22, 1971. In evening and morning sessions, students were presented the sobering possibilities of ignoring this apostasy and the Biblical commands concerning its nature. An instructor in Bible and Greek at Moody Bible Institute, Dr. Haik brought expository studies on the conference theme. Mr. Showers, an assistant professor at Philadelphia College of the Bible discussed the historical development of apostasy. Building on this solid foundation Rev. Boiror presented practical courses of action for facing this increasing apostasy. Such information is vital to us if we are to be able to heed Cl1rist's command, "See to it that no one misleads you." Mr. Flickinger talks with conference speakers IVlr. Renald Showers, Dr. James Borror, and Dr. Paul Haik.
