The Student Body Association sponsored many activities throughout the school year. During semester break the S. B. A. team traveled through the south- midwestern states giving concerts in many high schools and churches, thus sharing what Jesus Christ means to them. February 21 was a big day on the G. B. I. campus as students participated in the Red Cross Blood Drive. The S. B. A. initiated several firsts this year. At the all school picnic the freshmen were properly initiated with beanies to be worn for one week. The election of S. B. A. officers for 1969-70 was done in a new manner as each candidate had a campaign manager who struggled to influence ballots in favor of his or her candidate. The voting was done at a ballot box rather than in chapel. g-ug sk'

l Student involvement has been outstanding in Reg and Doug give skit for our HCIB-TV project. the Macedonian Missionary Fellowship. The prayer groups, re-organized for more effectiveness this year, are each sponsoring one or more students as summer missionaries. Twelve members of our student body will be traveling throughout the world this summer to tell others of Christ. This has been made possible as a result of students involved in giving and praying. "Mission Accomplished" was the theme of the Missionary Conference. Because of the gift from the students to HCIB in Quito, Ecuador, construction has resumed on their new television studio-the pro- ject we chose to support this year. ' Opportunity for personal involvement in missions is our part in assisting student spiritual growth. Clarence Remple interviews Evelyn Fast, a repre- sentativc of HCJB-TV. A display reminds the students of the need at HCIB-TV
