The God of heaven, He will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build . . . For the Lord will do great things . .. | am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. In this yearbook you will see how the building program of Grace Seminary and College is being carried out, not only in bricks and mortar but in the lives of young people. Our theme, BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE, suggests especially that building de- scribed by St. Paul in Eph. 2:19 - 22. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone; in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

DEDICATION After serving as a pastor for sixteen years, Dr. James L. Boyer came to Grace Theological Seminary in 1950 to work for the Th. D. degree. His official connection with the school began just one year later when he was made Financial Secretary of the Board of Trustees. At that time he also began teaching Greek and Science courses. Today, he continues as Financial Secretary and as Professor of Greek. The many students who attend Win- ona Lake Brethren Church have known and loved him as their pastor this year. They have appreciated his able expositions of the Word and the deep truths which he has unfolded from it. All the students have observed the quality of his life in which the Christian virtues are evident. He is a man of kindly disposition, of great humil- ity, of genuine devotion to Christ. In grate- ful appreciation of his example, we de- dicate this 1957 GRACE to Dr. James L. Boyer. For we have great joy and consola- tion in thy love, because the hearts of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother. Philemon 7. a
