HWe in the Third Grade have had a great year! We really enjoyed our unit on Eskimos and making an Eskimo village in art. Everyone seemed to like the unit on the solar system best because that is the most popular topic for science reports. We had a nice trip to the Randolph Zoo and Park. we also went to Green Things Nursery and on a nature hike to Sabino Canyon. Our class is really looking forward to swnner camp this year and we are already thinking of ways to earn money to go. We have called ourselves the Club for Jesus this year. We really enjoyed our field trips to the Tucson Zoo, the Air National Guard, the Fire Station, the Suntran Transportation Dept., and the Shamrock Dairy. We have sung the memory songs all year, practicing to be Hdoeaa og the wand and not heaaeai onlyn. We haven't arrived yet ...but as Paul puts it, Uwe paeaa iowaad inc maah!H. In May we put on the traditional Spring Arizona State Fair where the first through fifth graders came and played games and learned about Arizona.
