8th grade Preparing for the future was a connnn theme this year as Eighth Graders learned to work with budgets, work with people and work with organizing their time. Eighth Graders have made it from the disected belly of a frog to the simulated coal mines of Appalachia this year. While MAA. Fnancin urged her students to stress the Hfillet mignonu in their writing, Ma. Bef! was showing students how to make it big in deduc- tions on their future income tax fonns. Although the Eighth Graders won't be remembered for their loud singing in devotions, or for their promptness, they will be remembered for a lot of laughs from the G.C S. film production of HThe Gong Show: You Were Thereu, and exotic delicacies prepared for English demonstration speeches.
