The Sixth Graders played an impor- tant role in the HMuAie Maehinen, won lots of blue ribbons in track competition, and got to eat a lot of interesting Hfoodsu prepared in English demonstration speeches This class was especially en- thusiastic and bubbly until it came to S.R.A. They covered an espec- ially interesting number of topics in Social Studies inclu- ding ancient Greece and Rome. Decorating, baking and eating cookies was also a favorite activity. Have you ever eaten a cookie decorated like a volcano? The class took field trips to Shamrock Dairy and Picacho Peak. The way every- body hiked up that hill showed they do something in P.E. And if you walked into their classroom in May you would have seen Jasper, a baby quail which hatched in the incubator What a neat miracle the Lord perfonned for us as we ended the year.H

They will have their souvenir miniature newspaper to renind them of their tour of the Star-Citizen. They won't forget the re-inactment of the trial when HJohnH and HPeteH resisted arrest...bo was that ever a biased jury Mrs. Watson tuned up reasoning powers by reading her Hsolve a crimen passages. After reading and studying the Book of Daniel many Seventh Graders were able to see how the Old Testament can be applied to their lives today. Overall the Seventh Grade was a happy class and seemed to enjoy the year.H y! I
