F RESI-IME The year started out with our Freshman picnic. This event was planned so that we could get ac- quainted with each other and we did just that. Our fall term was a very produc- tive one. We had Chessy Wood playing Varsity Soccer. Carla Rivela had a good part in the Fall play, Story Theater. The Thirds Soccer Team, with a majority of Freshmen players, had the best sub-varsity re- cord. The special characteristic of our class was seen by all - spirit. By the winter, we started to crank. There were many great activi- ties that took place. One highlight was the music concert, featuring tremen- dous performances by john Brennan, Carla Rivela and Kris Kobialka. Our sports teams had excellent seasons. Four fabulous Freshmen played Var- sity Hockey: Todd Crabtree, Andy Rockwell, Chris Hart and John Fos- dick. In addition to strong participa- tion in athletics, the Freshmen also contributed to the Winter Musical, Guys and Dollsf' Lisa Carrigg, Carla Rivela, and Kris Kobialka gave enthu- siastic performances. We had the first-ever G.D.A. tow- el sale which made an excellent profit for the Class. Some of this money was Ll . 10- 1--' e ' e Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle Dum 28 I' if ii .4 ix. f . . Athletically, there are strong Freshmen players: Jona- than Blau, Varsity Tennis Team cap- tain: Tom johnson and Greg Wald- man, Varsity athletes. Schlolastically, Beth johnson and Peter Barton con- tinue to lead the class. Socially, we have planned another great picnic at Mr. Foster's house. To put it mildly, we have poten- tial. You can expect a lot from the Class of 1987 in years to come!
