Romance, The French and Spanish Clubs at GL. offered language students an opportunity to broaden their knowledge of the peoples and cultures of France and Spain respectively, while an ap- preciation of the contributions of Roman culture was emphasized in Latin Club. Numerous programs, demonstrations and festiv- ities highlighted the activities of these groups. The Latin Club sponsored a Saturnalia Party in December, a cake sale on the Ides of March, and a trip to the Metropolitan Musuem of Art, as well as the annual Roman Banquet in May. The Spanish Club sponsored a Pan American dinner and visited Bambergers in Newark to see an ex- hibit of Spanish art. A variety of refreshments as well as various forms of entertainment added at- mosphere to Tuesday afternoon meetings. e!atz'vz'1fy and orscha FRENCH CLUB ROW 1: K. Ingate, A. Granger, L. Anderjak, G.
