Complications set in when one of the Triffet sisters tried to vamp Luke and a wild lrish rose Mary Ellen Block and a temperamental Italian John Stebbins ar- rived from the matrimonial bureau to claim their mates. Parson, Joe Mackley, was on hand to perform the nup- tia s. The overwhelming success of Hillbilly Courtship was made possible by the capable direction of Miss Lewis, speech and dramatics instructor.
