C liristie Alexander. senior, arrives af school while :tk still trusts and dark, thy work f T inie, effort. planning. and frus- tration were all part ofthe events that filled the school year. The heauty of the prom did not just material- ize. The foothall team started preparing for the season less than two months after the last season had ended. And the hand practiced in the hot August sun from eight in the morning until two in the after- noon for two straight weeks. These people worked many hours to hring all the ingredients necessary for suc- cess together. XX lien doing anything that will he seen hy your peers or the puhlic a general goal is to produce an event that will trouhle the mind to recall a moment that equalled to what they have just wit- nessed. The Goshen Relays ithe annual spring track classici has grown into what is con- sidered the most prestigious track meet in the Midwest. The event was orchestrated hy Athletic Director llerh Resler for the twelfth straight year. Besides the over loot! athletes that participated in the H5 relays there are other people that make the relays what they are. Over ZOO people from the Goshen com- munity. GHS faculty. and student hody volunteer to run field events, take tickets, and work concessions for the annual clas- sic. Local husinesses sponsored the awards given to the athletes to help cut the cost for GHS. These volunteers are an integral part of the succ ess of the Goshen Relays.
