C J-1' i 'yy 4. gg, J' nother very important event I is graduation, Guidance Counselor Bernice Dwyer has spearheaded the commencement exercises for the past ten years. From November when caps and gowns are ordered tohlune 1 when each senior walks across the platform to re- ceive his diploma Dwyer has seen to it that every aspect of the graduation ceremonies is in line. This may seem like a bundle of work for one days celebration, but Dwyer doesnt think of it as a chore. I thoroughly enjoy' it. I volunteered over ten years ago. l saw a need for someone to do this year after year. she said. Dwyers responsibilities include be- ing a liaison between the seniors and the principal. arranging for caps and gowns to be ordered. helping the sen- ior class decide upon an announce- ment style, and organizing the senior classes marching order. Enjoyment and pride in what she is doing are the driving factors behind Dwyers continuation as graduation di- TCCYUT. So many people sweat diligently to accomplish tasks for which the school will be renowned. The behind-thee scene toils often go unnoticed by the onlooker.
