anquet and Awards Night ighlight Two events which were highlights for seniors before they graduated were the sen- ior awards program and the senior banquet. On Monday. May' 14. seniors gathered in the Goshen College Cafeteria for a group dinner. The meal, prepared by the college food service. was served buffet style. The program was the highlight of the evening. though, with senior class members the primary entertainment. Musical num- bers were given by David Haney and April Randolph, who played a cello piano duet: Lauri Campbell who sang a vocal solo: Ste- fanie Eldridge, who presented a piano solo: Beckie Ford and Sherri Stealy. who sang a duet: and a song by the senior Crimson- aires. Class awards were presented by Andy ,,X .4 'Q I -r s I I I I . ' Twenty-five seniors received the Presidential Award. Ten of them were front: Beth Bartell. Jeff Peachy. I Gretchen Hess, Monique Dalka. Back: Libby Kei- daish, David Haney. John Gibbon. Jackie Eysol. Ro' berta l.ee. and Sally Hart. A variety of food was served at the Senior Banquet. I April Randolph waits patiently in the buffet line. Graff and Geoff Hoffman, who also acted as Master of Ceremonies for the evening. The awards presented included The Most Likely to Start a Revolution, Robert Hale: The Wierdest Dressed Girl, Monique Dalka: The Best Dressed. Rick Hetler and Lauri Campbell: The Preppiest, Andy Graff and Libby Keidaish: The Wittiest tBest Comebackl. Adam Marker: Class Clown, Dean Peterson. Most Likely to Di- vorce. Don Steiner and Laura Holderman: Most Likely to Get Married. Scott Buss and Deb Miller: Most Likely to Become a Permanent Student, David Haney: Most Likely to Become A Millionaire. Andy Graff: Most Likely to Succeed, Frank Hess: Biggest Gossiper, Libby Keidaishg Biggest Airhead. Lisa Miller: Most Athle- tic. Byron Holden and Juli Morris: and Quietest Person, Deanna Parsons. Mr. Jim Hughes, as a retiring teacher, was honored and he gave a few comments. Closing thoughts were given by Cecilia Armstrong and Libby Keidaish. Class President Tony Looker, who was to give reflections on the year. did not attend. The senior awards program was the pro- gram in which various school and commu- nity organizations and clubs were given the opportunity' to honor the seniors. Many scholarships were awarded. Other awards included the Mike Hartman Spirit Award, which went to Gina Lambrightl the Out- standing Senior Boy' Award, which went to Frank Hess: and the Outstanding Senior Girl Award, which went to Gretchen Hess. 1 fi ., H4 ,4, -cl, l l l T l i My yi.
