Nov. 5. Pep Club Amateur Show. Some people are born actors. For instance, there is Ray Hollman. He can be anything from a red automobile to a stack of old tin cans. Nov. '7- Senior Play cast chosen. That means more and more hard work for the Seniors. More power to -u-sl Nov. 11. Armistice Day and no school. Nov. 14. Those Seniors! Play practice every night sure makes one sleepy, doesn't it? The most common place to catch some Senior asleep is in one of Miss Henson's classes. For example, American History. Nov. 21. Senior Play--For the public. Mr. Harn and his band played several numbers between acts. Did anyone smell dill pickles or angel food cake after the play? If you did, the pleasant aroma came from the specially prepared lunch basket- which the play cast soon made short work of. Nov, 27. The students enjoyed a delicious pre-Thanksgiving dinnerin the Cafeteria. Many sighs of relief were heard when Mr. Lienert announced the .four-day holiday. Dec. 3. Senior bowling party at Chester, Illinois. Didanyone wonder why Miss Slechticky said she had a sore back? Those bowling balls are heavy, aren't they Miss Slechticky? Dec. 5. We of the commercial classes said 6'Goodby to our teacher, Mr. Sabella, who is planning to attend school. lifts of success, Mr. Sabellal Dec. 9. Our new commercial teacher came today. Now, I can't put down in black and white what we kids think of him. After all, he is to be sponsor. of the Annual. Oh well, dispite the groans of the. Typing ll class,,We Students think you're a pretty nice fellow. Dec. 10. The advertising committee started soliciting in Murphysboro for our Annual. A few blisters were worn on the feet of these ambitious students. Those streets sure are hard, aren' t they Sonia.
