The tuvgheg' team in the conference was CSMTUGLL Hill, but Gorham salled past them like a sail boat in a March breeze, One particular game with Vergennes probably won't be forgotten. It was about the toughest game of the seasono The game went nine innings before Gcrham finally came out on top by a score of 8 to h. The score was all tied until the ninth inning when the Vergennes pitcher began weakening. Vergennes was held down during those last and most important two innings of the game by magnificent pitching of Charles nSonnyn Asbury.
