strvaofag Ptssnmsai It's Commencement Night. In another hour we will he out of this institution and not a bit regretful either. If anyone should ask us if we are sfniors we'dHlet'em have itn, because they ought to tell by ooking at our faces. That music that we have to ma ch to sounds like some funeral march. If they want to mgke us happy, have them play something that is in the groove. I can't see why everyone gets such a thrill out of graduation. In the first place we have to sit for an hour and listen to a speaker. Rather dull to my notion--- The faculty will be wearing stars on their lapels next for thinking up such bright ideas as having us go to Mr. Hubble for a pass after we have taken a little time out when we get tired of school. They don't seem to recognize our superiority around this place. Mr. Hubble can't bear to see anyone not slaving over lessons. He expects us to keep on going without taking a nap in the study hall and is always disturbing us out of our meditations. He also thinks we should attend school every day without fail. More consideration by him would please the seniors and entire school. t Now that Mr. Dunn never fails to give us an assign- ment that takes all our time to figure out. And in Physics he gives a test every day Calmostl. ' Miss Henson has no consideration whatsoever for us. Why she just comes barging in after school has been going on for two days. We were getting along just Swell without her. Miss Slechticky has a capacity for work like nobody's business and expects everyone elso to have the same. Mrs. Jacobs never gives us enough time to finish our Home Ec. Scrapbooks. She has nothing else to do but grade them, so why not give us at least another week? We've never heard Miss Shultz or Miss Gaunt complain about us students. Maybe they really appreciate a good bunch of seniors when they sae one. Come to think of it, 25.
