Money made--money lost A large group of very green Freshmen were in- ducted in G. C. H, S, Miss Henson arrived. We wonder 'f h k - thing about History. 1 S Q Hows any Hangover--HDemerit Kidsn and friends celebrated hGrand Openingn. Moved into new quarters. New Study Hall. Now, you can understand why HMustardH was studying. Teachers were penalized with two days going to school. We can eat again--Registration Book IV--no school. Charolette and Colleen were presented with a cut- out pumpkin. Letter Day. Intellectual and Activity letters were presented to students. Ed Beames--Serviceman was present. Scrap!! Scrap!! Scrap!! But not enough for foot- ball suits. Armistice Day--another boresome vacation, wasn't it? Margie acquired a new car seat. Why is she so short? Bette? Bette who? Ask Bob Crain. End of lst quarter. Lots of A's??? Why Sure???? What was all the comotion at Lunsfords about l:OG a.m.? Basketball boys were supposed to be in earlier Ask Choate? Miss Gaunt arrived and opened the Music Dept. with a UBang, lpgtu. Did some guy buy your gir1's box? Jr. Box Supper. Miss Shultz's birthday. I did Did you know today was Katy gained a pound ---- Turkeyllll Asbury had the stomach ' We missed the presence ache--Hjust dinnernl... of Miss Slechticky. Absent on account of the death of her mother. Jr. Lunsford's face brightened--a new Sophomore girl! Who burned the duck? A very elaborate duck dinner for the faculty. When there is something good--the students always get gyped. . Slap 3 Jap!! Scrap Drive. Railroad spikes rules the r ce. Miss Hanson appeared with a French Coiffure. Pretty too. C?D Mrs. Jacobs and Miss Slechticky were comparing notes on the qualities of a Ford--Is Mrs. Jacobs planning to go to Sicily in that New Ford? . Clock jumped 15 minutes. Colleen saw it. Why is it Miss Henson rates?? A new desk appeared in her room.

High School Inspector visited us. She didn't have much to do due to the end of the semester. Arrival of Miss Gaunt's new HGQQQQ Babyn. The C'Dale Hospital suffers for awhile. Mr. Hubble was inducted for foot Hsurgeryu. On his birthday 1500. Colleen shined the banisters. Bud D. led the contest as to contribution to the Scrap Drive. Mr. Dunn had red Hspecksn on his face--must have been reflection from Wayne and Benny. Spieth took pictures. Everyone looked Hpurtyn. Appreeiated C?D valentines iloating around. Ask Miss Henson. SURPRISE!! Happy Birthday Miss Bradshaw. Annie, Wandie, and Margie went to take Mergie's driving test. Teachers contributed to blood bank. Students wish they were that brave more often. Mr. Hubble spent his most idle time making Hwhirl-a- gig-SH A barnyard rooster chase--ask Charolette and Jerry. Did anyone see Mr. Hubble around? Recuperating period Income Tax. Teachers are awfully grouchy and unstrung!! Must be they're taxed. Respect the Hagedu, Celebrated birthday Charolette and Ruth I.E.A. Meeting. No cousin in G.T.? Kids!!! Happy Birthday Mr. Dunn!! party--Arlene was 16. painted E. St. Louis Hredu. School. Did Bud D. visit his Girls proved their superiority to stronger sex. HNavy cares interann- Happy birthday Mrs. Jacobs. Must have been a wonderful weekend in St. Louis Annie and Margie!! Grand picnic--Boys are pretty good cooks!! Huh, girls?? Why was Margie and Annie in a hurry to get back to town? Industrious girls sand papered and turpentined the 1 I bleachers. Fun too Easter Smiles. Good Friday. No school. nGirls rushed to hat counters.H Many new Hhair-do's State patrolman lecture to History classes on safe driving. New base-ball suits--First in 18 yrs.--HPin-up Boyn strut for us!! Reynold Crain, after completing 25 bombing missions over Germany, returned to Gorham and visited G.C.H,S, A very nice talk.
