Secretery-Treosurer The club started with e HPANGN with initiation of new members.New members were seen about school doing such fool ish things es wearing dresses wrong side out, carrying e pickle on e string about their necks, wearing pigteils end green leaves in their heir or carrying e jer of dirt about as they soluted officers end esked for signatures of all old members on e oerdboerd worn on their beck.Some of them did not stick through the initiation, but we ended up with thirtv-five eager end energetic members in our club, Un the night of October 28th, thirty-five members and six faculty women came mesked for o Wspookyn Halloween Per ty. The games were the ective, boisterous type, but the best feeture consisted of the awards given to Lewende Thom es es the best dressedg Miss Henson es the most C0miC311Y, dressedg Miss Shultz es the ugliestg end Violet Kreuzer and Wilma Porter es the ugliest couple. At our Christmas Party on the night of December 22nd, twenty-three members were present with exchange gifts and the old-fashioned Christmas spirit. After e quiet evening of fun, Sante Cleuss CMrs. Lucille Lunsfordl mede her ep- peerence and shared in our refreshments of pop corn bells, soda, end candy bers. I The usuel dues of twenty cents were charged this yeer end membership was again limited to those who hed taken or were taking Home Economics. Our regulgr meetings ere held et 3:00 P.M. every two weeks or so.. To add extre money to our treasury, Wednesdays were chesen.eS,NSeles deysn. On these days we sold candy, soda, popcorn, coffee, home-mede pies, end sandwiches of different kinds-3 With this money we plan to send two members of our club to State Club Camp at Dixon Springs in late August. - . ' The club1hes planned e sevings stamps sele to be held eech period in our assembly, as soon as we een secure the books in which students can keep th ee stemps,We are proud to know that we are the only club in our section to spenmr e stamp sele. . The clinmJxof this yeers' activities will be e week end fwe hopelcemping trip to Mrs. Jecob5'home and to Dixon Springs Park. There we plan to forget ell about school en Home Economics end do nothing but sleep,eet,swim, hike end have brrrels of fun.
