Af fhe beginning of fhe school year fhe CSF. was very small, buf fhere were several new members af 'rhe end of fhe semesfer. This year our money was raised by giving candy sales. A banquef was planned for fhe firsf semesfer, buf a clafe never could be seffled. In The second semesfer fhe banquef was held on February I I af fhe dining room of fhe Home Economics building. The annual C.S.F. conference was held af Pleasanfon High School. The difch day will be lafe in May and will be spenf af Arroyo Seco. The officers of lasf semesfer were Presidenf Berneffe Wimer, Vice-Presidenf Lorraine Corda, Secrefary Virginia Griffin, Treasurer Edi+h Harris, Sergeanf-af-Arms Rufhie Barn- well, and Represenfafive Emily Harris. This semesfer's officers were Presidenf Berneffe Wimer, Vice-Presidenf Pafsy Rianda, Secrefary Shirley May, Treasurer Lorraine Corda, Sergeanf-af-Arms Edifh I-larris, and Repesenfafive Isabel Jimenez. This year fhe rules were changed so fhaf Freshmen are associafe members. In fhis way fhey can'f wear fhe pin or haven'f any voice in fhe meefings and fhey only need four semesfers fo be life members, wifh The usual one in fhe Senior year, whereas ofher members need six. The Life Membership lamp pin will go fo Virginia Griffin and Shirley May af graduafion. All fhe members of fhe CSF. fhis year have been girls. They wish fhe resf of fhe Sfudenf Body would worlc a liffle harder and make 'rhe C.S.F. fheir goal.
