Although the senior boys put up a splendid fight in the game held fourth period, the juniors ca.me out on top with the final score 44 -43. Awards Da Brings Man Thrill -1M59 ' li 1 Karen Wundt, the 1959 60 Future Nurses president, accepts the Principals Award from Principal Fred A l-lavel, jr for the most outstanding club of the school year They help in the local hos pitals and the convalescent home Gail Brown will preside over GHS as president of the Student Council in 1960 61 Gail is an active member of the Choir, Oj's, and has served in various class offices in previous years Kathy Vacker, the 1959 60 Head Major ette receives the honor of Drum Majorette for the next year Kathy has been an ac tive member of the Apache Band for three years, and a majorette for two years Tops in the Commercial field are Carolyn Tinsley and Shirley Iley Carolyn took First in State Shorthand and Shirley won First in a National typing contest, which results in a trip to Sweden It is with tearful eyes, but happy hearts that the cheerleaders give up their faithful megaphones to the 1960-61 Apache Cheerleaders.
