5 H5616 Z1 BUD The Board of Trustees and Administration Reflect Coordinating school and community relations is the job of the board of trustees. These seven men come together from their various walks of life once every month to form policies and make careful decisions on school affairs. The board is a liaison between the public and the school, responsible to the former for the officers of the latter. Not only a character building organ of the community, the school system is Gonzales' big- gest industry with 139 employees, a payroll of 544,000 and a total budget of S645,584.88. Consequently the board of truste es functions both as the business management board and the policy-making group. ...BX ,,4,m,i .mfg wpsg . tilifl ' A-'ri The Phil F nberg Alton Cook Milt0n NeitSCh 105 John C Schweda julian Marrou
