Foreword Throughout history, harmony and mutual coopera- tion among the individuals of a society have been two important elements. In order for a society to progress, the people must work together and resolve their dif- ferences. They have to be willing to work as a group to achieve their common goals. There are many different phases of life where the individuals are obligated to work together in harmony with their peers. The citizens of a nation are called upon to cooperate with their established government. The members of organizations, councils, cabinets, clubs, and other established groups should make an effort to cooperate with each other. In our system of education we find individuals who are working together in harmony. This harmonious cooperation among the members of a school system, as in any system, is most essential for progress and the attainment of our goals. As individuals we seek an education to enrich our minds, to develop socially and to acquire the necessary knowledge to guide us in today’s changing world. We editors of the 1971 Oracle sincerely hope that future generations will continue to work together peacefully.

Principal’s Message To the Class of 1971: Graduation Day will mean many different things to each of you. As an individual you have become a potential maker of history, a worker for truths, an architect of nations; but, the real progress you will make is bound cohesively with the lives of your contemporaries. As a member of a group you must not forget your own capabilities, your own assets, your goals; you must strive to become indispensa- ble to the group. I am confident that you will seek out your, goals and assume responsibilities unique to the human being you are and will become. . . . Kenneth L. Richards Principal Our Principal Mr. K.
