1963 Hi »; ' ML 6%» ' C jfrm 0 Af. ijlll fcl g t i .r - ■ ijhtPr h t V . 0 o The Cavalier X EDITION EDITED BY THE SENIOR CLASS OF 1963 Dedication During our flight to higher education, the SENIOR CLASS pauses to pay tribute to one who has been a guiding light to our path. Be¬ cause of her cheerful attitude and deep under standing we, the SENIOR CLASS of 1963, dedicate the Cavalier to you, MRS. NAN POI NTER. 2 Gloucester High School becomes a great part of a student ' s life during the five years attended. Each student, upon entering, becomes a member of our large family. His achievements, honors, and even his failures are all shared with his family. Some march to " Pomp and Circumstance " into new responsibilities and new lives; others leave to return in the fall. Each student at one time or another leaves something of himself at the school. The CAVALIER staff of Gloucester invites all to share with us the precious moments enjoyed at Dear Ole Gloucester. We hope that while " ORBITING AROUND GLOUCESTER HIGH SCHOOL " each will rocket to a greater knowledge of the enthusiam, work, loyalty, friendships, achievements, and fun of the school year 1962-63. 3 Gloucester High School ALMA MATER We sing our Alma Mater And praise thy glorious name. We join in mighty chorus To laud thy halls of fame. Sing hail to Thee, Sing hail to Thee Loud let your voices cry With loyal adoration For dear old Gloucester High. We ' ll fill our hearts with gladness And never shall it die. FIGHT SONG Oh, we will fight, fight, fight for Gloucester, Oh, we will fight on to the end. Oh, we will fight, fight, fight for Gloucester, Never to give in. And when the Dukes march on in triumph, Victory in their sight; Stand and hear our loyal cheer for the Red and White. 4 o Orbiting Around the Faculty MRS. ELEANOR ROGERS Secretary MR. C. B. ROWE, JR.
