We came rambling down the halls floating on clouds. Our good spirits were soon used to clean the G, a custom which is a social heritage to all freshman classes of our school. Our sophomore year drifted with fung and as sophomores, Mr. Cromer proclaimed us the loudest group in the student body. As juniors we gave the traditional junior play "The Tin Hero" and our prom "Stairway to the Stars"-both were brilliant successes. In this, our senior year, we gave our most hilarious play, "A Date With Judy," to a packed house. The senior frolic, which we consider the most memorable ever given, was exquisitely and uniquely decorated and carried out. One of our most remembered days, of course, was "Senior Ditch Day". Everyone had a marvelous timeg and although our skins were quite tanned the next day, it was an experience that will live with us forever. Now at graduation in our blue and white robes, we are receiving our diplomas which we have long sought. Looking back at our Globe High School, we see it silent and serene and the faculty relaxed after four years of trials and tribulations of seeing us reach our goal. I would like to thank each and every member of the staff for their cooperation and interest in the success of the Wigwam. To our sponsors, Miss Kennedy and Miss Hachtel, my sincere appreciation for their guidance and criticism. For the many excellent'prints of the classes and clubs, I wish to thank Mr. Victor Rubalcaba of Tru-Art Studio. My thanks also goes to Mrs. Cubitto for her cooperation in calling the students for pictures.' Much credit goes to the business manager Donna Graham and her assistants, Ella French and Bertha Lacy for raising the neces- sary funds from ads, to Sam Tomes and Larry Kellner for helping me with the many snaps, to Dave Walker for his fine art work, and to my assistant editor, Carroll Bishop, who has worked countless long hours with me. I am sure that she will profit by the experience and will make the best annual ever next year. In the actual production of the Wigwam, I wish to thank the Phoenix Engraving and Lithographing Company and the Arizona Trade Bindery for the excellent job done on this annual. And to the merchants, who through their purchase make this annual possible, I extend my gratitude and thanks. We have tried to give you, the students and faculty, a good record of school life for the past year. I hope that you enjoy reading it as much as we have enjoyed compiling it, and may it bring you pleasant memories in future 'ears y . CHUCK LEE, Editor. 'red' 'eww 49" lin, CL I X. : X 1.
