In thepast, people have gone out for an officelooking forthe glory the office holds. However, these people do not realize the responsibility and the work involved to hold an elected position usually volunteers and gets the work done, commented Mr. Rich- ard Farland, student council advisor. One of their major goalswas to unite students and faculty for better understanding and cooperation in the control and directions of school activities. Vice President Eric Mensing presided over council meetings in the absence of President Greg Johnson. He also acted as they chairman of assemblies and election, committees. Kathy Smith planned special extra-curricular activities for the ASB. .V y Lisa Martin, this 'year planned all the assemblies. throughtout the year.
