The Tartan Band participated in the Santa Monica El Primero competition in early November. 3. Glendora's choirs took part in Disneyland's Festival of Lights. Rock Hudson was the master of cere- monies. 4. Thespians rehearse for A Streetcar Named Desire. 5. This painting, done by Mrs. Juliane Hodjera, was on display during the month of December in the faculty art show. 6. The band spent many long hours practicing their music for the 1977 Rose Parade. Intense Drama Portrczyed in 'Streetearp A Streetcar Named Desire sponsored by the Thespians, premi- ered on March 4, 5, 11 and 12 at 8 p.m. in the little theater. The play, written by Tennessee Williams, is considered a modern Ameri- can Classic. Streetcar,' is about a woman who becomes emotionally destroyed. The main roles were portrayed by senior Beth Myers as Blanche Du Bois, junior Wes Huggins as Stanley Kowalski, senior Kathy Lawson as Stella Kowalski, and junior David Gray as Harold Mitc- hell tlVlitc-hj.
