Home Ee., HOC, JROTC Present A Variety xperiences HOME ECONOMICS-Ms. Marilyn Alt .- M NJKOI C-Mr. looy wilson ealth Occupations Careers, HOC, is a class for students interested in the health field. Students in this class spend two hours a day, four days a week, working with health care professionals. The class' purpose is to make interested students aware of health occupations and open their eyes to what the field has to offer. Mr. Gary Tyra is the instructor for this course. GHS's NJROTC unit represents the Navy and had 71 members during the year. The goal of NJ ROTC is to make better citizens of students and to keep them in- formed of what's happening in the world. Mr. Toby Wilson handles this department. Ms. Alt, a new teacher at GHS this year, is in charge of the Home Economics Department. Counselors Provide Guidance n arious Areas CAREER CENTER-Ms. Phyllis Lundy he Career Center is a room where students can go to find out about education or career opportunities. Ms. Phyllis Lundy helps students explore career choices and to choose one that they are interested in. The Career Center also has college and scholarship information available to interested students. The counselors at GHS have many respon- sibilities including helping students to choose classes, making schedules, and pro- viding any other necessary help.
