LEGISLATURE Created to supply a more representative form of student gov- ernment at Glendale High, the Legislature has acted on many of the most important matters placed before the Cabinet in the first year of its existence. The new legislative branch was created by the constitution in September, providing that it should be com- posed of representatives of the second period classes. Dave Tope was elected to the presidency of the Legislature for the fall semes- ter, and Dean Morris succeeded him in January. The group meets when called by the student body president, often in joint session with the cabinet. TOPE MORRIS
