We are especially grateful for his impartial interest in each and every student. fe ' ..... ,M ft? Kayiadfam... FOREWORD Here in word and picture is life at Glendale. The Staff has endeavored to cover and record all events. It has attempted to capture and mirror the spirit and fellowship that is Glen- dale. Presented are memories of classmates, teachers, organizations, athletics, work, and "just fun", in the hope that they will serve as a commemoration in the future of time gone by in the past. Time Out l f , f 1 ,NSN S . is 10 T x fe iigktiig A., 'YQLXQ Wfwlt ff' As you depart from Glendale High, as you each enter into a new and greater phase of life, I would say to you that you must enter into the future with optimism, enthusiasm, and love of life. Life is a great adventure. Its greatest obstacles are unkind words and deeds, pessimism re- garding new ventures, and lack of faith in oneself and his fellows. Let not "prophets of doom" dampen your enthusiasm, let not witlings and hecklers discourage you. Life is yours, the world is yours. With your chin up, a smile on your face, and a sincere faith in God, no obstacle can possibly cause your tomorrows to be anything but bright and rosy with suc- cess and happiness. h I I Hfafpfy Gym GLE D LE HIGH SQHQQL Mr .
