Changes Hands In 1969
This year at Glendale High School,
there is a change of Assistant Principals
resulting from the promotion of Mr.
Robert P. Christensen to Principal.
Our new Assistant Principal for Stu-
dent Activities is Mr. Richard Eberly.
Mr. Eberly came from Valley City,
North Dakota, where he received his
B.S. degree from the University of North
Dakota. His career before coming to
Arizona included a teaching position, a
principal's position, and the position of
Superintendent of Schools in Ellendale,
North Dakota. Before coming to Glen-
dale, Mr. Eberly held a position as a
Geography taacher at Moon Valley
Mr. Charles Richardson came from
New Haven, Connecticut. He received
his Bachelor's and Master's degrees
from the University of Tennessee. Be-
fore coming to Glendale, he held two
teaching positions: one in New Orleans,
Louisiana and the other in Morenci,
Arizona. Mr. Richardson taught in the
social studies for six years before com-
ing to Glendale.

Administrative staff supports
Our new principal Robert Christensen was
educated in Iowa. He received his BacheIor's
degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids,
Iowa. He then went on to receive his
Master's degree from the University of
Minnesota. Mr. Christensen held positions
as a teacher and principal during his stay
in Iowa. In 1956 he came to Glendale
where he taught in Social Studies until
1959. From I959 until his promotion to
Principal this year, Mr. Christensen held the
office of Assistant Principal.
