Williams' play staged ln unique atrium theater Tennessee Williams' classical American play, Cnc Glass ,Menag- erie was performed May 9-Il by GCC's drama department. They presented the intense drama in the Atrium Theater, an open air theater. Une Glass ,Menagerie is an auto- biographical, memory play with typical Williams' characters. lt is a play of a lower-middle class family caught in an emo- tional and economical trap. Each member of the family tries to find a certain way to escape from his problems. Tom finds escape by running away to sea. The play is Tom's reflection of the past. His mother escapes by living in the past, and his crippled sister lives in a fantasy world centered around a collection of little glass animals. The unique sets incorporated by Overson and his acting class, combined with the play itself, left the audience with a lasting impression. Steve Goodien Carol May .. Debbie Reconic John Speer ..
