Between scenes, the Charlie Brown ensemble consisting of Brad Koloch, Joe Deluca, Dan Brame, Lisa Pontar- elli, Katrine Wohlschlegel, and Mr. Walter Lamble re- view the musical score for the play. lflusical amounts to more than 'he Master Singers performed You're A od Man Charlie Brown as their first sical of the year. The play ran for four 's, Sept. 30 - Oct. 3. fir. Other characters included Snoopy, played by Jim Figiel and Rick Warskowg Lucy, played by Sara Flanagin and Chris Larkinsg Linus, played by Mike Bartschg and Patty, played by Nancy Hoefs and Mimi Kite. John Bond, who played Schroeder com- mented, The show was not just for kidsg it's numerous puns made it a delight for old and young alike? So that they would be ready to go by Sept. 30, the cast started working on the musical several weeks before the start of school. They practiced everyday, Monday-Friday, until the start of the school, then they began prac- ticing evenings, after school, and weekends. just 'Peanuts' Ex-master singers Jackie Shim, Vicki Leh- man and Eric Gilliland, from last year's Mas- ter Singers musical The Fantasticksf' came back to provide a lot of help for the produc- tion. I believe the presentation ofa small musi- cal in the fall is very important to the musical and theatrical development of the students involved. It is a good complement to the much larger NorthfSouth Musical in the spring, concluded Lamble. Nancy Raley, one of the Master Singers who didn't perform in the play, felt the play turned out well.
