Craze invades South A new craze has hit people all over the country, and Glen- brook South was no exception. Student obsession with the vid- eo craze became more appar- ent as the year rolled on. An Etruscan survey showed that there are very few GBS students who have never exper- ienced the excitement of shoot- ing ships in Space Invaders or avoiding head on collisions with the monsters in Pac Man. Video games are becoming a favorite past time for students. Whenever a student gets a chance, he can be found play- ing video games whether it be in his home, in a game room or in a restaurant. The popular video han- gout for most GBS students is Glenview Game Time. There, students can find everything from Pac Man to Asteroids. Freshman Yvonne Labat commented, It's great owning video games because you can play any time you want to. There is no telling how long the video craze will go on, but if it remains as popular as it has been, we may be moving into a complete video age.
