Juniors Juniors boost bonanza The Junior Class Board con- sisted of four class officers and 30 selected members. The whole Board met every Tues- day to discuss their upcoming activities. Their main goal this year is to raise enough money for the 1982 Promf' said president Harry Gottlieb, The year has gotten off to a slow start as far as fund raising is concerned, but things have picked up with the holiday season? One of their fund raising ideas was The Big Bonanza. This should prove to be our biggest profit, commented vice-president Sheila Hoshaw before the Bonanza got under- way. The Bonanza was a game Juniors Jane Adams, Sue Willner, and Lisa Gerage look on at the North- South pep assembly. Jim D'Alexandar, Laurie Hunt, Cheryl Silver, Ellen McDonald, Scott Vogg, Stanton Kawer and Rich Hecht express relief at the end of a day of classes. in which contestants sold as many items as they could, in- cluding watches, ornaments and candy canes. First prize for the top seller was a Project! one stereo. The contest was open to the whole school, how- ever, only the juniors made the profit. The Board met twice over the summer to discuss plans for their Homecoming float. Their efforts did not pay off though, as the junior float was disquali- fied due to lack of completion. Junior Andi Berg said, The float was too big, and we didn't work fast enough.
