Janice Meighan and Carmen Martinez get ready to go home after a T0 GLORY The fabulous Wilson Band-aids have attended many competitions such as. the Tournament of Champions in which they placed second. and Covina Chaffey, Los Altos and Cit- rus halftime competitions they took Sweepstakes. With the help of-Marilyn Sneider their new instructor they are now one of the top flag's teams. The flags will be competing at Saddleback, Arroyo and State Competitions as Colorguards. They attended such competitions as: Claremont Invitational Halftimc Tournament in which they took Sweepstakes, in West Covina and Los Altos halftime tournaments where they took -first place. They also attended the Tournament of Champions, California State Drill Team Competition at San Jose, Miss Drill Team U.S.A., and California State Championship at Arroyo. The Drill Team is headed by: Captain, Dena Favela, a three year member of drill team and small precision dance team. Co-Captain for the fall semester was Kelli Pollard and Co-Captain for the spring semester was, Joyce Amieone. Miss Kirkly, the Drill team advisor, always gave her encourage- ment, support and time, which included attending morning practices and all shows and competition.
