Leigh Richards Starting the new year off with an outstanding Sweepstakes victory at National City and brand new uni- forms, the 78-79 Wildcat Band placed high in all attending competi- tions. After placing lst at Claremont and obtaining a Sweepstakes at West Covina, the band attended Chaffey Tournament of Champs where they competed with the best receiving a third place.
