O UA C lMuS Everyone likes music and the students of Glen Cove High School are no exception. Maybe this explains the hearty reception extended to the Chorus each time it performs. Of course this may also be explained by the fine quality of this musical group. Each year the Chorus sends forth lovely sounds at the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter assemblies. W'c are sure that these programs will long be remembered by the graduates of Glen Cove High School. The members of the Chorus attend a Broadway show annually and judging from performances we’ve seen, maybe someday we’ll see a Glen Cove Chorus member on that stage.

If you’ve ever been to City Stadium on a Saturday afternoon, in the midst of Fall, you might have wondered who the beautiful girls on the field were. Well, they were Glen Cove’s outstanding majorettes. Each Saturday afternoon, it was a treat to watch these talented girls strut to the music of the Glen Cove High School Band. Many years from now, we will look back and think fondly of these girls who filled our Saturday afternoons with pleasure. 21

This is the cheer which has lead Glen Cove to many a victory and these are the lovely girls who have led our student body in spirited cheers, giving our boys the support needed to bring home a victorious team. This year’s varsity squad, led by captain Marge Broda, did its job well. Many new cheers were presented and we all shared the excitement of introducing what might very well become tradition. We want to thank the girls for their spirited participation and wish luck to those up and coming Junior Varsity girls. J.V. FIRST ROW — Left to right — S. Pascale, R. Goler, M. Pearlmutter, S.
