Its record was not too impressive due to the fact that the team lost many close decisions. Led by Stuart Kaufman, Jim Wal-zer. Bob Nash, and Bruce Goldberg, it won several matches. Coach Barteau is looking forward to a good season next year. GOLF Golf teams in the past at Glen Cove High have been noted for their excellence. Last year was no exception. Lou Farrell, Ben Sorecenski, Stu Kaufman, Bill Dwyer, and Sal Moccia led the team to an impressive record and second place in its division. The team placed third in the Nassau-SufFolk Championships at the end of the season. In this tournament, Stu Kaufman was among the leaders of the two-day event with an aggregate score of 161.
