C. to the rescue. Student Advisory Council, a comparatively new organi- zation in GCHS, consists of the President and Secretary of each of the four classes, their faculty advisors, and repre- sentatives from selected activities. It serves as liason between students, faculty, and administration, and strives to achieve better mutual understanding. Sometimes students and administration do not see eye-to-eye. It is the function of SAC to talk over these problems and to try to reach a mutually agreeable conclusion. SAC can chalk up on its scoreboard the adoption of a new school ring, the arrangement for the programming of school activities, and the new class election system. Freshman What was thot? Each September this question is asked by every upperclassman as he almost gets knocked over making his way through the familiar halls of G.C.H.S. Each year the answer is the same: That was a Freshman! This scene takes place over and over again as the newest entrants to our school fight their not-so-familiar way through mobs of towering Covers. Constant scapegoats for everyone and addressed simply as, freshmen, we present them to you and say, Remember, once, you were one of them too!

With only one more upward step to 90, the approach to the final stage is at times tedious, yet, exciting. Junior Alley is usually buzzing with ideas for new fads to set the rest of G.C.H.S. on its heels. Conscious of financial needs for forthcoming plans, the Juniors begin to work hard on their big event- The Junior Prom. Good luck Juniors! Next year this is your iob!
