The varsity nine had its moments, the J. V. ran a close second. The Cover's varsity had suffered two no-hit games before Ed Altieri turned the tables, Port Washington was the victim. ln the eight-inning game, Ed whiFFed twenty men, but the team was unable to provide him with any runs.
